Trubian Village

The New Black Wall Street and Cultural Renaissance

Introduction:

Welcome to the Trubian Village Chamber of Commerce, where we proudly present the Trubian Village Marketplace—a thriving hub of culture, commerce, and community, operating from Thursday through Sunday. This marketplace is the centerpiece of our movement, designed to serve as the economic and cultural backbone of our community across Arizona, California, and Nevada. It is here that we lay the foundation for what we call the New Black Wall Street, a modern-day revival of economic independence and cultural resurgence.

Trubian Village is a dynamic community that symbolizes the resurgence of Black American identity, embracing the full spectrum of Black people in America, including Afro-Latinos, Morenos, and Negritos. Rooted in the ancestry of the original copper-colored races of America, Trubian Village honors this rich heritage by reclaiming cultural and economic sovereignty. As a beacon for the New Black Wall Street, Trubian Village leads a cultural renaissance that redefines what it means to be Black in America today.

The Trubian Village Marketplace

The Trubian Village Marketplace is more than just a place to shop; it is a vibrant space where culture and commerce intersect. Here, artisans, vendors, and entrepreneurs come together to showcase their products and services, all deeply rooted in our shared heritage. Operating four days a week, from Thursday to Sunday, the marketplace provides a consistent platform for economic exchange and cultural celebration.

Vendor Opportunities:

Vendors are invited to participate in the marketplace, with options to secure a space for $575 per month, granting them access to 16 days of operation each month. Daily spots are also available at $55 per day. With 26 permanent monthly vendors, the Business Foundation of the marketplace generates a basic operational budget of $14,950, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our community initiatives.

Tribal Family Day:

As part of the marketplace structure, Tribal Family Day takes place every Saturday. This event is a cornerstone of our community, offering a space for families to gather, share traditions, and engage in cultural activities. It seamlessly integrates with the marketplace, encouraging community members to support local vendors while enjoying the day’s festivities.

The Trubian Village Tribal Dance League

In addition to the marketplace, the Trubian Village Tribal Dance League is a key element of our cultural renaissance. Each tribal dance team operates as a youth group, providing mentorship and engaging in youth activities. Teams from Arizona, California, and Nevada participate in a three-state league, culminating in a Tri-State Championship.

Team Chartering and Registration:

Teams are chartered through the Trubian Village Cultural Foundation & Academy, functioning as divisions within the Foundation. The chartering cost is $750 annually, with an additional $750 registration fee that includes tournament entry, trophies, and a banquet.

Mentorship and Cultural Integrity:

Each team is committed to upholding the cultural values of the Trubian Village community, with a focus on mentorship and youth empowerment. They serve as living extensions of our cultural heritage, celebrating and preserving it through the art of dance.

A Return to Ancestral Roots:

At its core, Trubian Village is built upon a profound connection to our ancestors—the original copper-colored peoples of this land. Before European settlers arrived and laws began to reshape our identities, our ancestors, including those who would become Afro-Latinos, Morenos, and Negritos, lived in harmony with the land, practicing traditions, languages, and spiritual beliefs integral to their way of life. Trubian Village seeks to revive these traditions, recognizing that our history began long before slavery, with thriving civilizations that existed for centuries. By weaving together the legacies of the Arawak, Choctaw, Hebrew, Moorman, and many other indigenous and African-descended peoples, Trubian Village acknowledges our diverse origins while celebrating the unity and strength that comes from embracing our true history. This deep connection to our roots drives our mission to reclaim and preserve our cultural heritage, ensuring that every facet of Black identity is honored and uplifted.

The New Black Wall Street: Economic Empowerment Rooted in Identity

Trubian Village embodies the spirit of economic empowerment, drawing inspiration from the historic Black Wall Streets of the early 20th century. Here, we have created a self-sustaining socio-economic ecosystem that allows us to control the flow of currency within our community, just as our ancestors practiced self-sufficiency and community-based economies. Our community includes Black entrepreneurs and businesses from diverse backgrounds, including Afro-Latinos, Morenos, and Negritos, who contribute to a thriving marketplace. By owning and operating our marketplace, businesses, and cultural platforms, we ensure that our wealth circulates among us, supporting growth and reinforcing our values. These businesses are not merely vendors; they are the lifeblood of our community's economic resilience. Through this model, we revive the spirit of Black Wall Street while reconnecting with the economic practices of our ancestors, ensuring that our community remains strong, vibrant, and self-sufficient.

A Cultural Renaissance: Celebrating the Full Spectrum of Black Identity and Ancestry

Trubian Village is at the forefront of a cultural renaissance that celebrates the full spectrum of Black identity, encompassing Afro-Latinos, Morenos, Negritos, and all those of African descent. Grounded in the history and traditions of the original copper-colored peoples of America, we are reclaiming and reimagining what it means to be Black in America. Through music, dance, art, food, and spiritual practices, our cultural expressions are deeply rooted in the wisdom and practices of our ancestors. Urban Star Media, our in-house media network, plays a crucial role in this renaissance, serving as the voice of Trubian Village and broadcasting our diverse stories, talents, and achievements to the world. Our annual Cultural Award Show, sponsored by Urban Star Media, honors the artists, businesses, and cultural leaders from across the spectrum of Black identity who have made significant contributions to our community. We celebrate their achievements as part of a continuous lineage that stretches back to the original inhabitants of this land, ensuring that every voice within the Black community is recognized and valued.
